Covid-19 tests?

Sunday November 8, 2020 Last Wednesday, November 4, I was helping two friends to cut down some trees. What would have taking me an hour or so to do back when I could do it, now took all day. I'm still recovering from back surgery. I say that two has-been’s and a want-to-be, took forever to get it done. The tree on the right is not finished yet. Of course, we all three are sort of has-been’s but only one of us should get off the ground but he has no experience cutting trees. Thursday it took all day to cut up the one and half trees that we had put on the ground. We still have one and half trees to go. Hope to have them finished before I leave, at least on the ground.

My friend Joe passed away from chemical poisoning. His internal organs just started to disintegrate. I have known Joe for 49 years. I will be going to see his family Thanksgiving day. I have had one other friend die this same way at the same age 72/73. Both families blame it on agent orange in Vietnam. They are probably right. I will be going to Denver on November 26 for his memorial. I wish that I could have been there before but it was not in God’s plan.

I will be flying to Ghana on December 3. I have to have a negative covid-19 test the day before I get on the plane. They will be giving me another one when I arrive in Ghana. When I think of the times when I have come back from Ghana so sick, I could hardly walk, now they wouldn’t even let me on the plane, because of fear of covid-19. In 2014 I came back so sick, my brother had to carry me to the car to take me to the hospital. Then the doctors thought it might be Ebola and put us in quarantine. Two hours later it was only malaria. :-)
